What’s 1 fun fact about yourself?
I love to laugh! Growing up, I was the loud affectionate goofball in my family. It makes my day when I can make my loved ones laugh and smile!
What’s your favorite self-care activity?
Creating Art! I love learning new art skills of any kind, but I particularly love fiber art. Fiber arts include needle felting, weaving, punch needle, spinning yarn…etc.
What’s your favorite thing to do with a friend?
I prefer 1:1 hangouts. I enjoy catching up with an old friend in a coffee shop or restaurant for hours.
I have been part of the Compeer team since 2024, contributing to our mission of supporting mental health through friendship.
“I am currently the Older Adult Coordinator and Veteran Program Coordinator for Compeer Buffalo. Our Older Adult Program involves 1:1 mentoring and our Veteran Program, CompeerCorps, provides free, fun, social activities to Veterans in our community.
The aspect of my job that I enjoy the most is interacting with our clients and learning about their lives and lived experiences. Everyone has a story to tell, and I enjoy listening to our clients talk about what brought them to Compeer and how we can be of help to them. Personally, I have a deep respect for Older Adults and Veterans as well. My dad is a Veteran, and I am a big proponent of civic duty.”
