What’s 1 fun fact about yourself?

I love to laugh! Growing up, I was the loud affectionate goofball in my family. It makes my day when I can make my loved ones laugh and smile!

What’s your favorite self-care activity?

Creating Art! I love learning new art skills of any kind, but I particularly love fiber art. Fiber arts include needle felting, weaving, punch needle, spinning yarn…etc.

What’s your favorite thing to do with a friend?

I prefer 1:1 hangouts. I enjoy catching up with an old friend in a coffee shop or restaurant for hours.

I have been part of the Compeer team since 2024, contributing to our mission of supporting mental health through friendship.

I am currently the Older Adult Coordinator and Veteran Program Coordinator for Compeer Buffalo. Our Older Adult Program involves 1:1 mentoring and our Veteran Program, CompeerCorps, provides free, fun, social activities to Veterans in our community.

The aspect of my job that I enjoy the most is interacting with our clients and learning about their lives and lived experiences. Everyone has a story to tell, and I enjoy listening to our clients talk about what brought them to Compeer and how we can be of help to them. Personally, I have a deep respect for Older Adults and Veterans as well. My dad is a Veteran, and I am a big proponent of civic duty.
